This powerstick is designed to insert through the base of an existing Yankee Flipper bird feeder which has a black on/off switch on the side of its base. The green housing contains rechargeable, lithium ion batteries, and a top port accommodates the feeder's A/C adapter to power them. A pressure switch on the side of this stick aligns with the bumper on the feeder base, powering the spinning mechanism when a squirrel puts its weight on it. Its green body blends with your feeder base and the perch ring, and the lithium ion batteries can hold a charge while not in use for some time. Note: This powerstick is designed for newer models of the Droll Yankees Yankee Flipper Squirrel Proof Bird Feeders, which have an on/off switch on the base. Use only with charger number GFD06 0501000U. Due to differences in manufacturing, this item may not function with all Droll Yankees Yankee Flipper Squirrel Proof Bird Feeders or AC adapters.
