The item creates a biological filter and waterfall easily. Install the piece at the top of your pond or stream, and secure liner directly under the spillway with the included flange. Connect your tubing from the pump to the included 1.5" bulkhead at the back of the filter using one of the included barbs, or plug it and place a bulkhead elsewhere. Water will enter the base of the spillway and be moved upward. Upright panels in the bottom of the filter help direct the water upward and through the biological media. media not included. The water exits the item from the 15.75" spillway, for a truly dramatic water feature. This versatile filtration unit offers the potential for amazing custom installations that you may adapt to use for your application.
