The Heartwood Victorian Bat House features two chambers and holds 100 bats. Function meets architectural styling with this bat shelter. The steeply pitched, shingled roof has a ventilation gap in the easement and a copper ridge. It is divided into two vertical chambers, each of which measure 1.25" deep. A piece of rough wood separates the chambers to allow bats to cling when roosting. It is best to face the house toward the south or southeast, approximately 15 to 20 feet above the ground. This bat house is hand-crafted in the USA.
