The Perky Pet Squirrel-Be-Gone Wild Bird Feeder features a rustic weight-sensitive cage that allows birds to feed normally from the six feeding ports, but prevents squirrels from feeding. When a squirrel steps on the cage or the individual feeding perches, the squirrel's own weight pushes the cage down and the decorative metal leaves slide down to cover the feeding ports. Squirrels stay frustrated while birds are given a safe feeding haven. The square plastic feeder tube holds over 2 quarts and is perfect for sunflower and mixed seeds. The spring loaded cap makes filling and cleaning the feeder simple while denying squirrels access. The rustic brown treatment of the metalwork will add to any backyard bird sanctuary. This feeder may be hung with the included 6" brown wire hanger.
