The clear plastic seed tube holds 0.8 quarts of sunflower or mixed seed, and the item has two feeding ports at the bottom for birds to easily reach it. Innovative perches at each port enable birds to orient themselves comfortably, as some birds feed straight on and others sit at an angle to the port. The black metal port cover extends to a 180° loop, while a smaller silver colored perch sits closer to the seed and is more convenient for smaller birds. The black, easy clean base helps the item stay free of mold. At each filling, simply twist the base to unlock it, disassembling the feeder in moments. This will help keep the unit clean and prevent mold from growing inside the reservoir. The metal base brings sturdiness to the unit, and a black metal top protects seed from moisture. Use the attached metal loop to hang this item from a hook or bracket, or use a 3/4" threaded adapter (not included) to pole mount the feeder.
