This pump and tank set is a fantastic addition to your cabin or farm, thanks to its hardy construction and compact design. A robust, cast iron shallow well jet pump sports an attached, factory preset pressure switch, running the unit between 30 and 50 PSI for safety. The front inlet accepts 1 1/4" MNPT pipe for plenty of flow, and a chart in the manual provides an idea of pressure loss for adequate pipe sizing. This pump arrives securely attached to the included, precharged pressure tank, which handily holds up to 5.8 gallons of water. A potable water safe, Butyl diaphragm rests inside this steel drum, and a bracket on its base aids in securing it to a level surface. The robust, 1/2 horsepower, single phase motor on the pump runs on either 115 or 230 volt power sources, and its top motor terminal box makes checking the unit simple.
